Nexamp Announces Senior Hires in Key Community Solar and Accounting Roles

Recognized leaders in their fields, Allan Telio and Elizabeth Golden join Nexamp as the company expands national solar platform

BOSTON, July 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nexamp, Inc., a leading provider of solar energy solutions, has added two new hires to its leadership team. Allan Telio joins Nexamp as the Senior Vice President of Community Solar, and Elizabeth Golden, CPA, joins as Nexamp’s Vice President of Accounting.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Allan and Elizabeth during this exciting period of growth for Nexamp and the solar industry. Together, they possess the ideal combination of experience and expertise required to maintain Nexamp’s leadership position as asset owners in the burgeoning community solar market,” said Nexamp CEO Zaid Ashai.

Prior to joining Nexamp, Telio’s notable career included business development and leadership roles at EnerNOC, Belkin, and MyEnergy. During his time at MyEnergy, Telio spearheaded business development and played a key role in the company’s acquisition by Google/Nest in 2013. Telio holds a B.A. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.B.A. from Babson College Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business.

In his new role as Senior Vice President of Community Solar, Telio is focused on leveraging the company’s success to date - Nexamp currently serves thousands of customers across dozens of operational community solar projects - and preparing the company’s community solar platform for rapid expansion in 2019 as its workforce and customer base grows in target markets, including Massachusetts, New York, Illinois, and Maryland.

“Community solar represents an innovative solution to help make the benefits of solar attainable for everyone, and Nexamp is uniquely positioned to help these programs realize their immense potential across the U.S.,” Telio said. “I’m excited to be working for an awesome company that is not only growing quickly, but is also helping to combat climate change and progress toward energy independence. I have two young kids and making sure that we move to a sustainable, clean energy future is essential. It’s a privilege to be able to work at a company that strives each day to make that a reality.”

Elizabeth Golden, CPA, joins Nexamp with extensive experience in technical accounting, compliance and management, most recently serving as Corporate Controller at Radius Global Growth Experts. Golden also has served in financial capacities at Endurance International Group, Inc., ModusLink Global Solutions, Inc. and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Golden holds a B.S. in Accountancy from American University Kogod School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.

“I am proud to join a team with such a proven track record as we continue to innovate and raise awareness of the many benefits of community solar,” Golden said. “Nexamp’s passionate team is committed to helping local communities transition to sustainable community solar models. My vision is to help ensure that we remain on track to efficiently reach our goals of a cleaner, greener tomorrow.”
