Jelly Roll and wife Bunnie XO exchange 'intimate kiss' during 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards
Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie XO were in the spotlight without trying at the Academy of Country Music Awards when the two got lovey-dovey in the audience
There are some songs that get couples in the mood, and Dan + Shay's hit country record Tequila seemed to do that for Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie XO.
During the opening of the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, the pair lovingly danced together in the crowd together amid the singing duo's performance of Tequila. Dan + Shay were some of the performers who kicked off the show, and got the crowd loosened up before the awards ceremony proceeded. Cameras panned to the audience amid each of the beginning performances, catching many of the entertainers' reactions.
For Dan + Shay's set, when the cameras scanned the audience, Jelly Roll and Bunnie became the center of attention because of how affectionate they were, coming across very much like couple goals.
Not only did the married pair intimately dance with each other in the audience, singing the lyrics to Tequila, but they also ended up exchanging a sweet kiss.
Although the moment was brief, it was still talked about on X, formerly Twitter. One viewer tweeted on the platform: "Stop. @JellyRoll615 & bunnie are so dang cute. #ACMAwards."
Bunnie and Jelly also exchanged kisses on the ACM red carpet before the show began, flaunting their love once more.
Their love story began in 2015, when the Wild Ones performer met his future wife backstage at one of his shows in Las Vegas, according to The Knot.
A year later, in 2016, the two got engaged and married, cementing their union. Since then, Bunnie and Jelly have been inseparable, and made many red carpet appearances together.
Jelly has publicly professed his love for his wife many times, with a recent occasion being during his appearance on The Pivot Podcast in March 2025, per People.
“It's like, we're just really getting better,” he said on the podcast. “Dude, I love her, man … That's my partner, man … I used to hate it when people go, 'That's my person.' But I'm like, she's my person. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's my person, dude.”
