JORDAN, N.Y. — The Village of Jordan experienced flooding Tuesday night into Wednesday after heavy rain passed through parts of Central New York.
The village issued a State of Emergency Tuesday night due to Skaneateles Creek cresting. Residents along Valley Drive, Vale Street, Elbridge Street, Chappell Street, Mechanic Street and Railroad Street began to experience flooding in their homes and evacuated.
The State of Emergency was lifted early Tuesday morning.
