Capital Stage AG acquires additional wind turbine generators in Lower Saxony with a total generation capacity of 10 MW
Hamburg, 24 October 2017 - The SDAX-listed, Hamburg-based solar and wind park operator Capital Stage has acquired three additional wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Odisheim, in the Lower Saxon district of Cuxhaven. The three Senvion 3.4 M 114 turbines feature a hub height of 119 metres and a total generation capacity of approximately 10 megawatts (MW). They are scheduled to go into operation in December 2017 and will then benefit from a feed-in tariff of EUR-Cent 7.68 per kilowatt hour. The turbines were developed and sold by Bremen-based Energiekontor AG. The total investment volume for the wind parks, including project-related debt financing, amounts to approximately EUR 21.9 million.
Capital Stage expects the installations to generate revenue of about two million euros from the first full year of operation onwards. A subsidiary of Energiekontor AG will be responsible for the commercial and technical management of the wind turbines. This latest acquisition increases the total capacity of the Capital Stage AG wind park portfolio to more than 560 MW.
"With the turbines in Odisheim, we are delighted to have acquired our sixth project from Energiekontor. Thus, we successfully continue our close partnership. Just last year, we purchased a wind park in neighbouring Breitendeich with similar turbines - which have performed very strongly ever since", explains Dr Dierk Paskert, CEO of Capital Stage AG.
